Mini-dribblers.

Every football journey starts somewhere. At Rothley Imps, ours starts with a ball, a smile and a warm welcome. Beyond football, it’s about making friends, building confidence and enjoying every little kick.

Little players. Big smiles. Future imps.

Mini-Dribblers welcomes boys and girls aged 3-4 to take their first steps into football. It’s a place to play, make friends and feel part of the Imps family, whether your little one is always kicking a ball or trying it for the very first time.

Small steps, plenty of fun.

At this age, it’s all about enjoying being active. Through simple football games and playful activities, we help children build confidence, develop balance and coordination, and discover the fun of playing together.

Every child joins in at their own pace. Some will jump straight in; others might need a little time and encouragement. There’s room for both.

These are our youngest Imps, with friendships to make, new skills to discover and plenty of smiles ahead.

Mini-Dribblers is also a starting point for parents and carers.

Our club grows because people step forward to help, and we’re looking for parents and carers who would like to take the helm and coach our youngest players. You don’t need to arrive as a football expert. Patience, enthusiasm and willingness to make things fun are a great place to start.

It’s a chance to share in your child’s football journey, get to know other families and help a new generation feel at home at Rothley Imps.

You bring the enthusiasm. We’ll provide the backing.

Taking that first step can feel daunting, but you’ll have the club behind you. We’ll guide you through getting started and provide practical support and financial backing for:

  • The required background and safeguarding checks

  • Mandatory FA learning, including safeguarding and first aid

  • Relevant coaching training to help you build your skills and confidence as a coach

You’ll have the support from people who have previously completed the mini-dribblers journey as you find your feet.
